Arc Flash Remediation utilizing IE TRAP® products by ZMAC - Lowers incident energy and lowers PPE requirements on downstream equipment where adequate* short circuit fault current is available. This is accomplished by providing a fast trip to shorten the arc flash event duration and in most cases outperforms a fuse. Note that fuses can operate faster but typically there is not enough fault current to do so.
High Integrity Lockout Tagout (LOTO) Point - Provides a safe, fast, and reliable disconnection point to isolate equipment from its power source.
Sequester Main to reach unambiguous Electrically Safe Work Condition - Sequesters the main protective device out of the downstream equipment to isolate the main incoming source of power. Install adjacent to equipment or inside the equipment. Used to establish the electrically safe work condition described in the NFPA-70E standard for electrical safety in the workplace.
Arc Flash Warning Labels - Arc flash labels can be provided for an additional fee. One label would be installed on the new switch and one label is installed on the downstream equipment. A limited arc flash analysis can be completed in SKM or ETAP with our without a site model being provided to us. In order to accomplish this, the required minimum power system information will be needed.
NEC, NFPA-70E, OSHA - Aligns with the intent of the 2017 NEC article 240.87 (ARC Energy Reduction), the NFPA-70E (standard for electrical safety in the workplace), and OSHA.

*ZMAC will review circuit details if provided to confirm low IE performance. Most circuits have ample available short circuit fault current. ZMAC can provide products to remediate equipment with those exceptions where the available short circuit current is low.
